Cheesy Garlic Bread

First of all, delicious. Second of all, extremely fast to make! I made these to accompany a dinner and I have a feeling I will be making them again and again…

Cheesy Garlic Bread

One loaf of crusty bread, cut into 1/2 inch pieces

2 tablespoons butter, melted

6 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves of garlic, minced

dried italian and oregeno, to taste (a few shakes)



1/2 cup grated mozzarella

1/2 cup grated parmesan

1. Preheat oven to broil. Place sliced bread onto a baking sheet. I put a wire rack on the baking sheet too, but you don’t need to.

2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl except the cheeses.

3. Use a spoon to drizzle garlic oil all over the top side of the bread, making sure the entire surface.

4. Place into oven and start to toast, about 2 minutes.

5. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with cheese mixture.

5. Place the sheet back into the oven, and broil for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese starts to bubble and brown. But beware! This can go from delicious to burnt very quickly, so make sure you stand there and watch.

6. Serve while hot along side some warmed marinara. :)
